The throw-in from Narcis Voinescu in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fundação Marques dos Reis's Tiago Ferreira. In the 33rd minute, Niculae Mercescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Milan Itzov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fundação Marques dos Reis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milan Itzov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes in the game, Epigonoi Honjas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roch Cieslak having to interfere. FC Luck's Roch Cieslak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Luck from getting a goal against them. Pavel Logofătu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
