In the 42nd minute of the match, Patricio Bartolome got a very nice opportunity to score, but Patrick Eliasson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Patricio Bartolome's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Eliasson was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Patricio Bartolome sped through Gnesta Oilers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrick Eliasson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisito Abad to strike the kick off in the second half. Dave Mathy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Karmel having to make a save. Luisito Abad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Patrick Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Ove Söderström kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, one of Gnesta Oilers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alpachiri AFC made a substitution. Santiago Txilar replaced Luisito Abad. Eduardo Karmel made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Alejo Veliz sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Bartolome in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Eliasson saved Gnesta Oilers from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Gnesta Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Alin. Patrick Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Txilar in the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Txilar in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Eliasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Alpachiri AFC's Fermin Soin got a free kick in the 85th minute. Eduardo Karmel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Veliz in the 86th minute. Alejo Veliz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Karmel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Alpachiri AFC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Jon. 93 minutes into the match, Gnesta Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Txilar came free, but Patrick Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Gnesta Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Dahlquist to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alpachiri AFC fully deserved thier win.
