Zenon Kosmatka hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Fabian Bartocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, El Azulgrana's Napoleon Rozanski got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half El Azulgrana were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

It was a well-played corner which Vinicio Franco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. El Azulgrana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
