To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matei Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matei Răducu came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Idrottsklubben -03's Pär Odén. But to his dismay, Pär Odén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leontin Ţurcaş kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Andersson in the 19th minute of the match. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Andersson in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carpathians's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William Enström was slow to take the kick. During this time Idrottsklubben -03's players had a chance to rest. Idrottsklubben -03's William Enström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matei Răducu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Stefan Dobay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stellan Jonasson was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The Carpathians fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Carpathians's Stefan Dobay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute Stefan Dobay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stellan Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Dobay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stellan Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Dobay, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes of play, Carpathians's Stefan Dobay made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stellan Jonasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Andersson in the 47th minute of the match.

In the 54th minute of the match Carpathians got a corner. Idrottsklubben -03's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dave Signoretti ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dave Signoretti made a great header on Carpathians's corner, it was just that Idrottsklubben -03's Stellan Jonasson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 55th minute, Laurențiu Iurea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stefan Dobay came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Carpathians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Dobay couldn't finish the play. Idrottsklubben -03's Stellan Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Dobay in the 73rd minute of play. Matei Răducu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pär Groth in the 79th minute. The supporters of Carpathians booed when Idrottsklubben -03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Falkrantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Dobay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stellan Jonasson having to make a save. Stellan Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Dobay in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Erling Falkrantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Stefan Dobay made a precise shot to the right of Stellan Jonasson. Idrottsklubben -03's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 88 minutes into the game, Stefan Dobay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Stellan Jonasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carpathians's Stefan Dobay got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Idrottsklubben -03's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
