After 36 minutes of play, Surahammar's Victor Santxol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duda Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute Victor Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Santxol in the 45th minute of the match. Surahammar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Billy Fristedt in the 47th minute. The corner ended in Virgil Van Dijk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nada Pontual F.C's Duda Berger did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Santxol was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Surahammar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
