When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Erhan Ascı took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tarık İnanç to make any attempt to save it. The Gothic Souls fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Gothic Souls's Erhan Ascı looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tarık İnanç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erhan Ascı in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Grøneng to maneuver through the defense. Lemi Uğurlubey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beyhan Oğuztüzün in the 25th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Tamer Özgu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tarık İnanç saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 40 minutes into the game, Fernando Dracena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lemi Uğurlubey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bornova's Tarık İnanç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erhan Ascı in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Olaf Babicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil. Bornova's Tarık İnanç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erhan Ascı in the 52nd minute of play. Gothic Souls made a substitution. Ege Nesip replaced Erdinç Sarıalp. Tarık İnanç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erhan Ascı, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's Erhan Ascı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tarık İnanç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Erhan Ascı notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Bornova's Tarık İnanç. Tarık İnanç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gothic Souls made a substitution. Lovis Schobel replaced Radowit Dziuma. Erhan Ascı took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarık İnanç. Tarık İnanç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. 94 minutes in the game, Hector Montrel dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.
