In the 18th minute Quentin Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Quentin Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zdzislaw Szarmach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Aurelio Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 45th match minute, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Gau to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Cheche to make the kick off. If Javier Riguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 61 minutes Naboonga Wild Katt FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amancio Cheche who took care of the corner kick. Ovidio Hitzeder tried in the 61st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Anton Björnberg a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. Santiago Gau made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aurelio Duarte. The audience was convinced that Quentin Francis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Szarmach was relentless in the 66th minute of the game.
