Gökcan Karadeniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Baristo in the 4th minute. Philipp Lahm kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Peyo Kaadekilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halim Tuğ in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şentürk Kose in the 13th minute of play forced La Banda del Tinto's goalkeeper Peyo Kaadekilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Şentürk Kose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anatolia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şentürk Kose was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şentürk Kose in the 21st minute of play forced La Banda del Tinto's goalkeeper Peyo Kaadekilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Baristo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gökcan Karadeniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's goal looked a bit too open when Halim Tuğ came free, but Peyo Kaadekilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Halim Tuğ notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Banda del Tinto's Peyo Kaadekilde. Peyo Kaadekilde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halim Tuğ in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peyo Kaadekilde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, La Banda del Tinto's Celedonio Bernebe got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Şentürk Kose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyo Kaadekilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's goal looked a bit too open when Halim Tuğ came free, but Peyo Kaadekilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gökcan Karadeniz was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Sixto Baristo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sixto Baristo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 46th match minute, La Banda del Tinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Fabra to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Sixto Baristo made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Şentürk Kose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyo Kaadekilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökcan Karadeniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Baristo in the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şentürk Kose in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peyo Kaadekilde saved La Banda del Tinto from getting behind. Kılıçalp Onatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyo Kaadekilde having to interfere. La Banda del Tinto's Peyo Kaadekilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demircan Rafi in the 66th minute of play. Halim Tuğ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Peyo Kaadekilde made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Cezary Penc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djalma Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peyo Kaadekilde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Kılıçalp Onatsu in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Peyo Kaadekilde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Baristo in the 83rd minute of play forced Anatolia FC's goalkeeper Gökcan Karadeniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Raúl Ungaro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 86th minute Sixto Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökcan Karadeniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peyo Kaadekilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şentürk Kose, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Demircan Rafi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Peyo Kaadekilde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şentürk Kose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anatolia FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
