Zack Blewett struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rogério Ceni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mordham FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiger Kahn. That made the score 2-1 after 19 minutes of play. 23 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Blewett came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamante Negro DK - VV's José Paulo Mattos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adrian Greenwood, made in the 28th minute of the game. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrice Féral in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jeremy Horseman came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogério Ceni could save by the left post. A collision led to Diamante Negro DK - VV getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. José Paulo Mattos hit a great ball. Diamante Negro DK - VV made a substitution.
