Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them. If Marco Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Cantona in the 17th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ismael Abalos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sebastián Sosa to make any attempt to save it. Marco Cantona might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Afonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Cantona ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrogue FC's Gavino Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Cantona in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Adrogue FC's Ismael Abalos got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Lopes came free, but Gavino Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Bernardo Bela got a free kick in the 31st minute. Sebastián Sosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by 高文乐 in the 32nd minute. In the 44th minute, Adrogue FC's Juan Pablo Angel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 47th play minute Marcelo Gallardo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sebastián Sosa. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marcelo Gallardo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by 高文乐 in the 56th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Adrogue FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vikingos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
