The referee ignored FC Cosula-BTF-'s protests and gave Sever Mărăscu a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Urko got free with Basarab Secoşan in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Don Merlot did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Basarab Secoşan 15 minutes into the match. Basarab Secoşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Merlot, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Don Malbec were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after FC Cosula-BTF-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Don Merlot took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Don Merlot got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basarab Secoşan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Basarab Secoşan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Don Merlot got free with Basarab Secoşan in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basarab Secoşan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Merlot went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Gavril Bobei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Basarab Secoşan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Merlot in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Don Merlot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Don Malbec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Don Merlot put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Basarab Secoşan. After 69 minutes of play, Don Malbec's Julio Urko made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basarab Secoşan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basarab Secoşan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Merlot went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Don Merlot made a precise shot to the right of Basarab Secoşan. FC Cosula-BTF-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. During the 84th minute of the match Sever Mărăscu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sever Mărăscu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Don Malbec booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Mărăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basarab Secoşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Julian Distiratsu struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Basarab Secoşan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Malbec. Don Malbec's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
