Radomiak Radom's Norbert Karanowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 16th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Mugurel Junilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu Moraes was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Robert Wnukowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robert Wnukowski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Tadeu Moraes made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Robert Wnukowski sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Wnukowski got free with Tadeu Moraes in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radomiak Radom's Norbert Karanowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mugurel Junilă in the 37 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Wnukowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeu Moraes. That made the score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Wnukowski. Tadeu Moraes made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Robert Wnukowski sent off a good shot on target. Tadeu Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 46th minute. Liviu Ghioane kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Wnukowski was the one to do the kick off. Robert Wnukowski scored 6-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeu Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the game, Eurico Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Tadeu Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robert Wnukowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeu Moraes having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, Radomiak Radom's Robert Wnukowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeu Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Wnukowski in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu Moraes saved FC Alinborger from getting behind. Gareth Southgate did an outstanding performance 65 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 8-0 to the right of an irritated Tadeu Moraes in the goal. Radomiak Radom's Eurico Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mugurel Junilă hit a great ball. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Wnukowski in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Radomiak Radom were awarded a corner. Eugeniusz Skaradowski went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee ignored FC Alinborger's protests and gave Marian Marin a yellow card for diving instead. Marian Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Wnukowski in the 90th minute of play. When Eurico Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Radomiak Radom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Fernandez couldn't finish the play. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 98th minute of play. Radomiak Radom's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
