Heavenly Hooters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulysses Madureira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazıl Özgenalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Heavenly Hooters fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clapham Comets F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
