In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the VALPICA C.F. defense, Karol Panasewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Ramos. The VALPICA C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Ramos should have stopped the shot. After 5 minutes, Cipriano Lastras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VALPICA C.F. and the Blue Mountain State players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when VALPICA C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Lastras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Karol Panasewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 11 minutes into the match, Karol Panasewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Ramos. VALPICA C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Panasewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Karol Panasewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Karol Panasewicz took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Ramos. Rodrigo Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Aykut Aşkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Ramos having to interfere. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when VALPICA C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Lastras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karol Panasewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Ramos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 25th minute of play forced VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cipriano Lastras was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. In the 26th match minute, VALPICA C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Lastras to maneuver through the defense. Karol Panasewicz took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Ramos. Rodrigo Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Karol Panasewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karol Panasewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Karol Panasewicz took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Ramos. Rodrigo Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

VALPICA C.F. made a substitution. Asier Canal replaced Emesto De Pablo. VALPICA C.F.'s Maximiliano Camara was substituted for Nacho Marrero. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karol Panasewicz to make the kick off. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaser Oğuzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Rodrigo Ramos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 64 minutes into the game, Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blue Mountain State's Gökcan Bergin was substituted for Aykut Aşkın. In the 70th minute, Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Rodrigo Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Panasewicz went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. The VALPICA C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Ramos should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Karol Panasewicz came free, but Rodrigo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Karol Panasewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Ramos, 0-12. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Lionel-Andrés Messi sped through VALPICA C.F.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Ramos. Rodrigo Ramos came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi. But to his dismay, Lionel-Andrés Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Blue Mountain State's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
