The referee ignored Motala AIF's protests and gave Daniel Marjanovic a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vallentuna Kickers booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Marjanovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jens Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Vallentuna Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Jonasson couldn't finish the play. Vallentuna Kickers were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Motala AIF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joachim Lindgren took the corner. Pascal Trefzer hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Torbjörn Tingberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Tolin was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Motala AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Tingberg came free, but Adriano Tolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motala AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörgen Alegren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Adriano Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Tingberg in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Vallentuna Kickers booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Marjanovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torbjörn Tingberg to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Vallentuna Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Skarkman came free, but Li Han reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Tony Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Han saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vallentuna Kickers booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Motala AIF's Tony Skarkman got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 87th minute, Gunnar Nordlander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Tolin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Vallentuna Kickers's zone, Marcin Cebula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Li Han came out of the goal and Marcin Cebula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Li Han made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Trefzer in the 96th minute of play. The Motala AIF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vallentuna Kickers's performance. The match ended with a win for Vallentuna Kickers.
