Bonifacio Lorien's late challenge caught a Eleven Nation Army's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Lorien helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Buenos y Malos Ayres got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Lorien. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helge Brun in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bai Jian Chen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bai Jian Chen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With his leg Qian Xing Wei managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Buenos y Malos Ayres's Arnulfo Beltran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Arnulfo Beltran came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Buenos y Malos Ayres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Beltran couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Arnulfo Beltran could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Qian Xing Wei however easily saved by the left post. Bai Jian Chen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Brun in the 26th minute of play. Buenos y Malos Ayres's Bai Jian Chen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Brun in the 28th minute of play. Bai Jian Chen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Ekelund in the 31st minute of the match. Eleven Nation Army's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Åke Ekelund in the 32nd minute. Qian Xing Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Beltran in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Buenos y Malos Ayres getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Bonifacio Lorien hit a great ball. In the 40th minute of the match Åke Ekelund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bai Jian Chen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Qian Xing Wei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Theobald's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helge Brun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bai Jian Chen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Lundkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute of the match Eleven Nation Army got a corner. Buenos y Malos Ayres's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Åke Ekelund ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Buenos y Malos Ayres's goalie and right to Freddy Bizi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Buenos y Malos Ayres's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Viggo Lundkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 played minutes Eleven Nation Army got a freekick which was hit by Helge Brun. 63 minutes into the game, Olof Högström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eleven Nation Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenos y Malos Ayres the free kick. The supporters of Buenos y Malos Ayres booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Theobald in the 64th minute of play forced Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Qian Xing Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qian Xing Wei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Theobald's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After taking down the ball on Buenos y Malos Ayres's corner Vasco Olarticoechea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qian Xing Wei quite easily take care of the ball. Paulo Theobald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qian Xing Wei having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Paulo Theobald put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Qian Xing Wei. In the 76th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Ekelund to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Eleven Nation Army's zone, Paulo Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qian Xing Wei came out of the goal and Paulo Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qian Xing Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Theobald in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Buenos y Malos Ayres's Paulo Theobald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qian Xing Wei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Helge Brun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bai Jian Chen. The goal made the score 1-1.
