When Fabian Orellana fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limburg United's protests and gave Fabian Orellana a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Limburg United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brakkies New Bastards:s goal. In the 7th minute, Robben Kints ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sean Van Dijck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sean Van Dijck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robben Kints's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Freddy de Cijser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Van Dijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Terwenhout's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nico Van Meerbek firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Terwenhout in the 27th minute of play forced Brakkies New Bastards's goalkeeper Nico Van Meerbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fredrik Terwenhout kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nico Van Meerbek. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robben Kints in the 31st minute of play. Kirk Powderham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sean Van Dijck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Nico Van Meerbek made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Emanuel Coekelbergh sent off a good shot on target. Nico Van Meerbek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris De Raeve in the 39th minute. Nico Van Meerbek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy de Cijser in the 44th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Kirk Powderham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brakkies New Bastards fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

Nico Van Meerbek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Terwenhout in the 53rd minute of the match. Gregorie van der Eycken hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kirk Powderham's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. In the 77th minute Brakkies New Bastards were awarded a corner. Daniel Reijniers went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Reijniers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck did a great save. In the 79th minute, Brakkies New Bastards's Ernesto Vergílio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sean Van Dijck. Sean Van Dijck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Nico Van Meerbek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris De Raeve in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Brakkies New Bastards's Daniel Reijniers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sean Van Dijck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robben Kints. In the 93rd minute, one of Brakkies New Bastards:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brakkies New Bastards. Nico Van Meerbek went to the wrong direction when Fredrik Terwenhout was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
