Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luan Trigo started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Armando Marchesani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ruy Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corumbaense F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Mian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jailson Loyola was a little too slow when Giuseppe Basso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 7 minutes, Aldo Tocchetto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herberia Herons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Tocchetto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Diego Mian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Corumbaense F.C. booed when Herberia Herons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo De Tommasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Giuseppe Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jailson Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Bergomi in the 27th minute of play. Arturo Bergomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Herberia Herons got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Ruggieri. With a little luck, Corumbaense F.C.'s Jailson Loyola got control of the ball when Arturo Bergomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aldo Tocchetto made the kick off in the second half. Fred Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Diego Mian made a huge save. Ruy Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Tocchetto came free, but Jailson Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
