Edward Hajto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abílio Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Milosz Drzewucki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Renato Candal made a huge save. But to his dismay, Raul Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Edward Hajto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Miguéis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Filipe Miguéis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Hajto having to interfere. Milosz Wolnik hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Raul Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Freiburg 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Raul Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Hajto was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Faker FC's zone, Raul Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Hajto came out of the goal and Raul Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Filipe Miguéis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faker FC's Edward Hajto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Leal in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abílio Passos was the one to do the kick off. Dariusz Dombrowski hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Faker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abílio Passos came free, but Edward Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Raul Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edward Hajto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Edward Hajto made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Raul Leal sent off a good shot on target. Luca Mocanu kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Marian Lato was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Faker FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Freiburg 09:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Leal in the 77th minute of play forced Faker FC's goalkeeper Edward Hajto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Edward Hajto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faker FC's Edward Hajto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Faker FC from getting a goal against them. Edward Hajto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Faker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Leal came free, but Edward Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Abílio Passos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edward Hajto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 93 played minutes Faker FC got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Czerniejewski. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Faker FC's goalkeeper Edward Hajto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Faker FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Freiburg 09 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
