The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Milosz Drzewucki's late challenge caught a LUIZ PANATO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milosz Drzewucki helped the player get up and apologised. LUIZ PANATO made a substitution. Ronaldo Gomes replaced Fellipe Cardozo. After a rather tough play, Faker FC's Milosz Drzewucki got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Luca Mocanu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, LUIZ PANATO's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Cichocki came free, but Guto Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Cichocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aki Guardo in the 11th minute of play forced Faker FC's goalkeeper Edward Hajto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aki Guardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Edward Hajto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edward Hajto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guto Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Cichocki in the 16th minute of the match. Klement Cieslak took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guto Taffarel. Guto Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Faker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aki Guardo came free, but Edward Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Rony das Neves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edward Hajto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edward Hajto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aki Guardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Hajto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maciej Cichocki to make the kick off. The supporters of Faker FC booed when LUIZ PANATO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milosz Wolnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Edward Hajto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualter Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Faker FC's Milosz Wolnik shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Guto Taffarel but with some difficulty. In the 63rdth minute of the game Carlos Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faker FC's Edward Hajto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Klement Cieslak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Rony das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Hajto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Maciej Cichocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aki Guardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Hajto having to interfere. The supporters of Faker FC booed when LUIZ PANATO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Konstanty Krzynowek in the 82nd minute really tested Guto Taffarel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Imet Naschekin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klement Cieslak got free with Guto Taffarel in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle went the supporters of Faker FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant LUIZ PANATO side.
