The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Asier was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnauld Van Impe in the 92nd minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Abel Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brugge United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
