Abubakar Kamarád who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Hilario Faron when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Matthis Paelemans hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goal looked a bit too open when Abubakar Kamarád came free, but Hilario Faron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abubakar Kamarád got free with Hilario Faron in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Hilario Faron successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
