The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Iggi Kot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Kochanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Gil Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Kochanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jonsereds IF booed when FC Gdansk36 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Kazczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Kochanowski in the 16th minute of play. Sixten Sjö blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Matysek having to make a save. Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Kochanowski in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match FC Gdansk36 got a corner. Jonsereds IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wieslaw Basaik ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Wieslaw Basaik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia did a great save. Gil Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iggi Kot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iggi Kot's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Shen Xun Chen got a free kick in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iggi Kot during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iggi Kot to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iggi Kot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iggi Kot in the 55th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the game, Wieslaw Basaik landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Arvid Qvarnström got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, FC Gdansk36's Piotr Kozlowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. If Piotr Kozlowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 68 in the game by Witomir Kochanowski from a close distance when the talented Gil Garcia managed to make a qualified save. Jonsereds IF's players were relieved. After 70 minutes, Ronny Nilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jonsereds IF and the FC Gdansk36 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronny Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Witomir Kochanowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match, Witomir Kochanowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gil Garcia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 78th minute Piotr Kozlowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Kazczyk to maneuver through the defense. FC Gdansk36's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
