The Lima Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alix Geoffray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Infante made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Yves Robinet sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Herberto Caiado made the kick off in the second half. Lima Team's Francisco Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Robinet in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Schonath. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Caiado in the 54th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herberto Caiado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rathmore Lime Tree's Pierre-Antoine Fouche was substituted for Toufik Loir. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Barroso in the 60th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yves Robinet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Infante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Alix Geoffray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Schonath in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Caiado in the 77th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Hakim Foussard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amine Pinault to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Antoine Fouche in the 89th minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Francisco Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Antoine Fouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Herberto Caiado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alix Geoffray having to interfere. Lima Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
