Artur Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiaguinho Luz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Breguete FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiaguinho Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 36th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto got control of the ball when Geovani Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Seco in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Breguete FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MUSHIBA FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilton Dracena was the one to do the kick off. Luciano Baptista struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Artur Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. In the 57th minute, Luciano Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Juan de Almeida in the 62nd minute really tested Artur Pernambucano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 64 minutes, Anselmo Neiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUSHIBA FC and the Breguete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, one of MUSHIBA FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Breguete FC. Valdir Loureiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rômulo Souto. 1-2. Breguete FC's Artur Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Breguete FC from getting a goal against them. Rômulo Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Breguete FC's Joaquim Seco in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anselmo Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute Anselmo Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Luz in the 87th minute of the match. Raí Nogueira hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Anselmo Neiva was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Anselmo Neiva hit a great ball. Valdir Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
