Artur Zhdaha charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Zhdaha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Juventus FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Artur Zhdaha hit a great ball. Olexiy Stus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Olexiy Stus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Benat in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Salomon Raita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 29th minute, Gaspar Laredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute Robertinho Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olli Lehtilä saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Liverpool FC's Olli Lehtilä got control of the ball when Gennadiy Tytarchuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo J.J. fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olli Lehtilä having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Gennadiy Tytarchuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olli Lehtilä came out of the goal and Gennadiy Tytarchuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salomon Raita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Salomon Raita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reino Kaltiainen charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reino Kaltiainen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Reino Kaltiainen. Juventus FC's Olexiy Stus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salomon Raita in the 56th minute of play. Salomon Raita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Olexiy Stus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Saverio Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olexiy Stus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Benat in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olexiy Stus saved Juventus FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robertinho Baggio in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olli Lehtilä prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kustaa Esala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Olexiy Stus made a huge save. In the 76th match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Laredo to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 77 in the game by Kustaa Esala from a close distance when the talented Olexiy Stus managed to make a qualified save. Juventus FC's players were relieved. With a little luck, Juventus FC's Olexiy Stus got control of the ball when Rauno Tukio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match, Salomon Raita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olexiy Stus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Danilo J.J. had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Liverpool FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
