Despite this Dalmacio Ebardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 17 played minutes Türk Polis Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Kayacan Salman. 19 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Doty came free, but Dalmacio Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, one of LTA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LTA FC. LTA FC:s Dalmacio Ebardo showed great skill when he stopped Günther Doty:s penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Isadore during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Albino Isadore hit a great ball. LTA FC's Dalmacio Ebardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save LTA FC from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Türk Polis Gücü's corner Erhan Sarıoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dalmacio Ebardo quite easily take care of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Türk Polis Gücü's Günther Doty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmacio Ebardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Günther Doty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dalmacio Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind LTA FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Ebardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Palermo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Matías Giménez got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Türk Polis Gücü's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yngve Lindqvist in the 56th minute. Yngve Lindqvist made a great header on Türk Polis Gücü's corner, it was just that LTA FC's Dalmacio Ebardo managed to reach the ball for a save.
