When Dmitriy Bogaenko came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Днепр ФК fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmitriy Bogaenko couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Cucao in the 8th minute of play forced Днепр ФК's goalkeeper Vladislav Maksimychev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stojmen Tujković didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dmitriy Bogaenko went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, Ferit Balkoç notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Днепр ФК's Vladislav Maksimychev. Vladislav Maksimychev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stojmen Tujković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Bogaenko in the 19th minute of play. F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Stojmen Tujković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Calisto in the 23rd minute of play. Stojmen Tujković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Askri in the 26th minute of play. F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Stojmen Tujković proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save F.C BEŞİKTAŞ from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Calisto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stojmen Tujković firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to F.C BEŞİKTAŞ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sezer Gümüşcüoğlu hit a great ball. Ralf Rapp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Stojmen Tujković made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Calisto came free, but Stojmen Tujković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Днепр ФК were awarded a corner. Erwan Carnot went to the cornerflag to take it. Uwe Askri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rasmus Højlund made a kick off. The supporters of Днепр ФК booed when F.C BEŞİKTAŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferit Balkoç didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dmitriy Bogaenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Ralf Rapp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stojmen Tujković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stojmen Tujković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Rapp in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's goal looked a bit too open when Dmitriy Bogaenko came free, but Stojmen Tujković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Днепр ФК fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Днепр ФК's Gaspar Calisto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Днепр ФК fully deserved thier win.
