The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Palmiro Ramires's late challenge caught a BloodHounds F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Palmiro Ramires helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes DPD FC got a freekick which was hit by Palmiro Ramires. 5 minutes into the game, BloodHounds F.C.'s Flavio Leobardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 9th minute, Mesut Özil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Pais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Nuno Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Özil in the 13th minute of the match. Vicente Quinaz charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Quinaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, DPD FC's Vicente Quinaz got a free kick in the 14th minute. DPD FC's Nuno Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Queiroz in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ivo Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BloodHounds F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 20 minutes into the game, Ivo Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nuno Pais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anak Agung Štriker might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anak Agung Štriker ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anak Agung Štriker in the 28th minute of the match. Anak Agung Štriker scored 0-6 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Pais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in DPD FC's zone, Tiberiu Cârnu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Pais came out of the goal and Tiberiu Cârnu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mesut Özil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Pais having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Özil in the 47th minute of play forced DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anak Agung Štriker in the 48th minute of play forced DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The DPD FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BloodHounds F.C. were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anak Agung Štriker to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, BloodHounds F.C.'s Anak Agung Štriker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nuno Pais. Nuno Pais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. BloodHounds F.C. made a substitution. Matias Valiente replaced Mesut Özil. With a little luck, DPD FC's Nuno Pais got control of the ball when Gaspar Ubelteso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lisandro Rebocho charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Rebocho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Ivo Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the BloodHounds F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Queiroz couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as BloodHounds F.C.'s Ivo Queiroz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nuno Pais. That made the score 0-11 after 70 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Ivo Queiroz sped through DPD FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno Pais. The supporters of BloodHounds F.C. booed when DPD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pessoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the DPD FC defense, Flavio Leobardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Pais. The DPD FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Pais should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivo Queiroz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuno Pais. That made the score 0-15 in the 90 minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Ivo Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BloodHounds F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BloodHounds F.C. played a much better game than DPD FC and deserved their victory. The DPD FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
