In the 9th minute, Wu Qi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthew McKail. The goal made the score 1-0. Chelsea Headhunters's Matthew McKail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Skytt in the 15th minute of play. Chelsea Headhunters's Matthew McKail proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea Headhunters from getting a goal against them. With his leg Matthew McKail managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Samurai's Wu Qi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vince Di Cola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe McGeachin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Samurai's Wu Qi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matthew McKail. Matthew McKail yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 24th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Skytt to maneuver through the defense. Yana Brolin scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vince Di Cola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Honorato Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wu Qi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew McKail read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Abancens in the 36th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Di Cola having to interfere. With a little luck, Chelsea Headhunters's Matthew McKail got control of the ball when Wu Qi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vince Di Cola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Otsoko in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Skytt to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes, Chelsea Headhunters's Alvaro Matxin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vince Di Cola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chelsea Headhunters reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wu Qi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe McGeachin in the 52nd minute of play. Matthew McKail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wu Qi to maneuver through the defense. 3-1 became the score in the 63rd minute when Marcus Skytt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chelsea Headhunters made a substitution. Joshua Cumming replaced Joe McGeachin. Samurai's Timmy Henriksson was substituted for Marcus Skytt. Abram Cadabra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Matthew McKail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Chelsea Headhunters's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Matthew McKail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vince Di Cola made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Karol Lampa sent off a good shot on target. Matthew McKail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Otsoko in the 84th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Chelsea Headhunters were awarded a corner. Knut Sandström went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Wu Qi put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Matthew McKail. Joshua Cumming succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-3 in the 92nd playminute. Chelsea Headhunters's Matthew McKail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Qi in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chelsea Headhunters players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Samurai.
