The coaching staff of The Waldos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lázaro Bonadona had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 3rd minute, one of The Waldos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Waldos. The Waldos:s David Dewulf showed great skill when he stopped Sebastian Kazczyk:s penalty. In the 8th minute GOMERASPOR were awarded a corner. Eren Özkan went to the cornerflag to take it. Eren Özkan made a great header on GOMERASPOR's corner, it was just that The Waldos's David Dewulf managed to reach the ball for a save. Alvaro Pagomari scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Krüger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Kazczyk was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Cengiz Onat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute The Waldos were awarded a corner. Jann Bavneby went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GOMERASPOR's goalie and right to Kostas Milonas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GOMERASPOR's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alvaro Pagomari in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
