Anzhelo Gerushin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Belcho Hlebarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Vodanovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Vodanovic in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anzhelo Gerushin saved ЦСКА from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astrit Melisarov in the 18th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Vodanovic came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Shumkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Bellucci having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astrit Melisarov in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anzhelo Gerushin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astrit Melisarov in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anzhelo Gerushin saved ЦСКА from getting behind. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Vodanovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes ЦСКА got a freekick which was hit by Toncho Súrbinski. 33 minutes into the match, Almazarrón's Astrit Melisarov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anzhelo Gerushin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Aurelio Vodanovic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Anzhelo Gerushin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, ЦСКА's Franco Bellucci threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Shumkov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Astrit Melisarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anzhelo Gerushin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astrit Melisarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 56th minute of the match, Archibaldo Candamil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anzhelo Gerushin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 58th minute Daniel Shumkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Bellucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Vodanovic in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Archibaldo Candamil got free with Anzhelo Gerushin in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 minutes, Nayden Statkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ЦСКА and the Almazarrón players grew even worse after the yellow card. 68 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astrit Melisarov. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Astrit Melisarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almazarrón's supporters rose to their feet, but Astrit Melisarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anzhelo Gerushin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ЦСКА's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Aurelio Vodanovic scored to the left of an out of position Anzhelo Gerushin, making the score, 0-3. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Domenech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ЦСКА's Belcho Hlebarov got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, ЦСКА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivelin Ananiev to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Aurelio Vodanovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anzhelo Gerushin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Domenech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Anzhelo Gerushin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Aurelio Vodanovic reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anzhelo Gerushin. The goal made the score 0-4. 92 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Archibaldo Candamil. Anzhelo Gerushin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Almazarrón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ЦСКА.
