The audience was convinced that Rene Flor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Perrando was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Celedonio Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Red Bull Crystallis booed when Hortensia FCG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 37 played minutes Hortensia FCG got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Rumaldo. Red Bull Crystallis's William Bodin took a good shot, in the 38th minute, which hit the crossbar above Celedonio Perrando's head, and flew over the goal. Hortensia FCG's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Red Bull Crystallis. Rene Flor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 7-0 to the left of a surprised Celedonio Perrando 41 minutes into the match. If Germain Poli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rene Flor scored 8-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Perrando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

After 77 minutes of play, Red Bull Crystallis's Rene Flor made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Perrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stevie Gerrard's late challenge caught a Hortensia FCG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevie Gerrard helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Red Bull Crystallis got a freekick which was hit by Stevie Gerrard. Stevie Gerrard kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Federico Arnas scored 14-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Perrando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
