The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Olof Vestlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantino Paublo having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantino Paublo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Corderun hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantino Paublo. In the 19th minute, CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Constantino Paublo. Constantino Paublo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Dionisio Santiago got a free kick in the 26th minute. Constantino Paublo was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Sven-Olof Vestlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sven-Olof Vestlund really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. In the 37th minute, Sven-Olof Vestlund made a precise shot to the right of Constantino Paublo. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria FC's zone, Sven-Olof Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Paublo came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Constantino Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsrev Özyay, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Sven-Olof Vestlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Paublo was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Dionisio Santiago's late challenge caught a CAN ERZURUM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Santiago helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Dionisio Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Dionisio Santiago made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rodolfo Cresencio however managed to control. In the 94th minute, Atabek Tecimen made a precise shot to the right of Constantino Paublo. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. Constantino Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atabek Tecimen in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CAN ERZURUM fully deserved thier win.
