Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candelaria FC's Constantino Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Penha in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Adelino Saldanha notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Candelaria FC's Constantino Paublo. Constantino Paublo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adelino Saldanha took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Paublo. Constantino Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Prestes in the 28th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Constantino Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Adelino Saldanha made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Paublo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Santiago. Hílton Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Constantino Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
