With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pipo Inzaghi in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabahattin Erten saved United from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Modesto Peirano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sem Titulescu. Jataiense Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Peirano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Pipo Inzaghi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabahattin Erten was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Hernan Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sem Titulescu having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Pipo Inzaghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but United's Sabahattin Erten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Hernan Emmanuel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sem Titulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Gilmar Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jataiense Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Meta Noia in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Meta Noia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sabahattin Erten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, United's goal looked a bit too open when Pipo Inzaghi came free, but Sabahattin Erten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Gilmar Couto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of United's Sabahattin Erten. Sabahattin Erten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sabahattin Erten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipo Inzaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pipo Inzaghi was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gilmar Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amadeo Sazon made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rolando Bela. After a defensive mix-up in United's zone, Pipo Inzaghi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabahattin Erten came out of the goal and Pipo Inzaghi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Peirano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sem Titulescu. Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Emmanuel in the 87th minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sem Titulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Gong Cheng Yao got a free kick in the 88th minute. When the referee ended the match the United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
