Victor Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Honcioiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Honcioiu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Vidar Albäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Honcioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Victor Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Armando Gazza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabriel Quadros got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bob Rock. 27 minutes into the game, Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Victor Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Honcioiu in the 29th minute of play. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ferdinand Honcioiu sped through Nacional de Rolândia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victor Negri. Victor Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when Nacional de Rolândia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Elliott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nacional de Rolândia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Breogan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Victorio Breogan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Victor Negri made a huge save. Victor Negri came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus PTM's Victorio Breogan. But to his dismay, Victorio Breogan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Victorio Breogan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Victorio Breogan had several of the Nacional de Rolândia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-8 score and a disappointed Victor Negri as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Juventus PTM had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
