Roberto Bonano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Montez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evlogi Dzhumayski in the 27th minute of play forced Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Cipriano Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evlogi Dzhumayski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Bonano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Montez's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Onofre in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Rencio saved Kakeros FC from getting behind. Jorge Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tecka Viejo Nomás booed when Kakeros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Prejun didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Matai made a kick off. Kakeros FC's Jorge Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Onofre in the 58th minute of play. Kakeros FC's Faustino Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sly Goodwick in the 59th minute of play. Faustino Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Onofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Damian Bittor was slow to take the kick. During this time Kakeros FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Damian Bittor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tecka Viejo Nomás's Roberto Bonano did a great save. 86 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Onofre came free, but Faustino Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 94th minute of the match Cipriano Regis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cipriano Regis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The Kakeros FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
