When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Lionel Bolton took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alisson Becker to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franky Ooms to strike the kick off in the second half. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice Delsaut in the 58th minute of the match. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Franky Ooms received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erkut Tun came out and tried to block the shot, but Franky Ooms slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 67th minute. Buffalo Timişoara's Narcis Ichim was substituted for Vali Voicescu. With a little luck, SubaV's Erkut Tun got control of the ball when Valentin Voicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. SubaV's Erkut Tun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save SubaV from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Buffalo Timişoara's corner Olgierd Kilar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erkut Tun quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee ended the match the SubaV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
