After 14 minutes, Edgard Bero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazaredo AFC and the Revolución Joao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo AFC's Edgard Bero got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Udalaitz Anel got free with Victorino Kelemen in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristinel Iosub kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Revolución Joao FC's zone, Walter Vestberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Velloso came out of the goal and Walter Vestberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Youssef Malek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Victorino Kelemen made a huge save. After the first half Mazaredo AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Youssef Malek made a kick off. Youssef Malek might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Kelemen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Youssef Malek ran back to his position shaking his head. 51 minutes into the match, Mazaredo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Youssef Malek came free, but Victorino Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Herman Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Vestberg in the 54th minute of play. Walter Vestberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Mazaredo AFC got a corner. Revolución Joao FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmiro Ortzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olavo Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herman Bergström went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Revolución Joao FC made a substitution. Keith Richards replaced Udalaitz Anel. If Domingos Ekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Bergström in the 74th minute of play. Filiberto Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Mazaredo AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Filiberto Alfonso hit a great ball. Olavo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mazaredo AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
