FC MCM's Călin Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Puttemas in the 13th minute of play. When Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Wannes Tielemans, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Royal Antwerp F.C.. In the 18th minute, Adrian Isbășoiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Natan Labrouche. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 27th minute, Adrian Isbășoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Emil Plop took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natan Labrouche. Natan Labrouche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Natan Labrouche came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MCM's Viktor Axelsson. But to his dismay, Viktor Axelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 36 minutes into the match, Alfonso Irureta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natan Labrouche. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Irureta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Adrian Isbășoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natan Labrouche having to interfere. Antonio Vissenaeckens's late challenge caught a FC MCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Vissenaeckens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Antonio Vissenaeckens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natan Labrouche was a little too slow when Adrian Isbășoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 8-0. Natan Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wannes Tielemans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Isbășoiu scored 9-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natan Labrouche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 59 minutes, Wannes Tielemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Antwerp F.C. and the FC MCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Wannes Tielemans got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Adrian Isbășoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natan Labrouche was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. FC MCM's Cătălin Agulescu was substituted for Viktor Axelsson. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Puttemas, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play, FC MCM's Daniel Ciolofan made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natan Labrouche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natan Labrouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Agulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, FC MCM's Jean Paul Moscatelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natan Labrouche came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MCM's Cătălin Agulescu. But to his dismay, Cătălin Agulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 17-0.
