In the 3rd minute Laércio de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match Internacional got a corner. Maverick Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ege Deniz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Internacional's Ege Deniz to fire away a dangerous shot which Edinho Paraíba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 8th minute Laércio de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Internacional's Laércio de Andrade in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maverick Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the game, Laércio de Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edinho Paraíba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laércio de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Edinho Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Etxahun Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Internacional's Geronimo Rulli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Internacional from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Internacional's Laércio de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edinho Paraíba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Laércio de Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laércio de Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. Wit Chuchro's late challenge caught a Internacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wit Chuchro helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Wit Chuchro. 31 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio de Andrade came free, but Edinho Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Laércio de Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Geronimo Rulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Neves in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Laércio de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Paraíba. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio de Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Laércio de Andrade put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Edinho Paraíba. A sloppy throw-in by Fabian Adriaanse in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Internacional's Etxahun Abastas. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Ege Deniz charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ege Deniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ege Deniz to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Internacional's Laércio de Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match Internacional got a corner. In the 61st minute, Maverick Futebol Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laércio de Andrade fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fabian Adriaanse made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Internacional's Etxahun Abastas. Geronimo Rulli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Laércio de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Edinho Paraíba made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Laércio de Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Paraíba was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Deivid Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edinho Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laércio de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Laércio de Andrade sped through Maverick Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edinho Paraíba. Edinho Paraíba came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional's Laércio de Andrade. But to his dismay, Laércio de Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Internacional's Geronimo Rulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Haaland in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Reynaldo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Internacional getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Israel Aballe hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio de Andrade in the 86th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio de Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Edinho Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laércio de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Laércio de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Edinho Paraíba. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. When the match was over Internacional could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maverick Futebol Clube throughout the match.
