Estrellas de Caballito's Esteve Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Lano in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Blanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estrellas de Caballito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albino Millano was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. If Americo Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Estrellas de Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Mouricio to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Pirro took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Blanco. Esteve Blanco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ramiro Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Blanco having to interfere. Genaro Mouricio made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aquiles Iraitz however managed to control. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Fernendo in the 33rd minute of play. Donato Erramun hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Albino Millano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ramiro Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Esteve Blanco made a huge save. Ramiro Lanos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Esteve Blanco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Estrellas de Caballito's Esteve Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Pirro in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Blanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 56th minute Luciano Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Blanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Estrellas de Caballito got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Mouricio. Racing Club made a substitution. Lucas Eladio replaced Miroslaw Jajecznica. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Genaro Mouricio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Estrellas de Caballito's Esteve Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Txomin in the 70th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Epifanio Txomin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Blanco. Estrellas de Caballito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Txomin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Herminio Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Cordearo having to interfere. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Estrellas de Caballito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donato Erramun in the 76th minute. The corner led Estrellas de Caballito's Donato Erramun to fire away a dangerous shot which Cornelio Cordearo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by Genaro Mouricio with Aquiles Iraitz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Cornelio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Fernendo in the 81st minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Fernendo came free, but Cornelio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Epifanio Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Txomin in the 84th minute of play. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Fernendo in the 86th minute of play. Cornelio Cordearo was a little too slow when Americo Fernendo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 3-1. After 95 minutes of play, Racing Club's Epifanio Txomin made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Blanco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Racing Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
