An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Snaza in the 15th minute of play forced Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Munat Tayka getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Renato Otto hit a great ball. Aron Oks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Snaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcin Snaza in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Oks saved Munat Tayka from getting behind. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Otto in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Ryan Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Beltza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aron Oks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reşat Rasif in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Munat Tayka booed when KS Piastów Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th match minute, Munat Tayka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uzuri Abella to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
