After taking down the ball on Club Brugge's corner Jeroen Weygaers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bobby Axelrod quite easily take care of the ball. The Club Brugge fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Club Brugge's Jeroen Weygaers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nik Kramming in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stein Spoelberch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Club Brugge booed when SK Slavia Bohnice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Oračko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Jeroen Weygaers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bobby Axelrod was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Stein Spoelberch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dino Varela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 33 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Jan-Simon Elsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bobby Axelrod was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Brugge from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Henri Erle.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nik Kramming to strike the kick off in the second half. Nik Kramming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bobby Axelrod made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pieter Van Landewijck in the 65th minute. Bobby Axelrod made an important save on a dangerous shot by King Eken in the 74th minute. Bobby Axelrod made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when King Eken sent off a good shot on target. King Eken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bobby Axelrod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nik Kramming hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes SK Slavia Bohnice got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Pejša. 92 minutes into the game, Dino Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Stein Spoelberch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nik Kramming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stein Spoelberch having to interfere. The supporters of Club Brugge booed when SK Slavia Bohnice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petr Pek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Brugge eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
