Cristo Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rich Barth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Rich Barth successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 5th minute, Cristo Rey made a precise shot to the right of Rich Barth. Caaguazu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Cristo Rey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cristo Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rich Barth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. Rich Barth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Rey in the 12th minute of play. Cristo Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rich Barth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Rey in the 14th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Beltza Rubin in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Bert Homøe. The throw-in from Beltza Rubin in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Jesus Ofelio. After 20 minutes, Cristo Rey made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Caaguazu's Rich Barth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 minutes, Miliano Roza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caaguazu and the R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miliano Roza kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Cristo Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rich Barth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rich Barth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Cristo Rey notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Caaguazu's Rich Barth. Rich Barth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Romulo Ortzi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Caaguazu's Miliano Roza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Beltza Rubin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cristo Rey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rich Barth having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Cristo Rey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rich Barth. The goal made the score 5-0.

Horacio Matro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Barth having to interfere. Cristo Rey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rich Barth having to make a save. When Cristo Rey came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Rey couldn't finish the play. Horacio Matro struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rich Barth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И. Caaguazu's Daniel Rojas was substituted for Harriet Ordoña. 60 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Rey came free, but Rich Barth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rich Barth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Rich Barth came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Cristo Rey. But to his dismay, Cristo Rey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Virgiawan Laturua was substituted for Bert Homøe. 70 minutes into the game, Cristo Rey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Rich Barth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78thth minute of the game Cristo Rey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caaguazu's Rich Barth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Rojas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Daniel Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Rey in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rich Barth saved Caaguazu from getting behind. Kazuo Koriotto scored 8-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rich Barth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
