Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mauro Primeiro kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Primeiro in the 4th minute of play forced F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper Miguel Poças to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Erland in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the F.C. Paços de Ferreira defense, Mauro Primeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Poças. The F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Poças should have stopped the shot. Ovidiu Adrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Bomba in the 10th minute of play. Ovidiu Adrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Bomba, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 23 minutes into the game, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidiu Adrian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Bomba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Julien-Nils Trede fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poli Timisoara's protests and gave Julien-Nils Trede a yellow card for diving instead. Ovidiu Adrian acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from João Gomes. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Bomba got free with Ovidiu Adrian in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Mauro Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Mauro Primeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Miguel Poças was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bartosz Erland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Inácio Secco was substituted for João Gomes. F.C. Paços de Ferreira made a substitution. Fabrício Travassos replaced João Maia. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. With a little luck, Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian got control of the ball when José Bomba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Poli Timisoara's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Bomba fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ovidiu Adrian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Bomba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 93 minute of play. The F.C. Paços de Ferreira players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
