Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anšlavs Karcirvis, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Edgar-Allan Poe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar-Allan Poe came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Vidar Jespersson advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 14th minute. A collision led to Goiás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Giovanni da Rocha hit a great ball. Natanael Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Blomqvist in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Wanderson Siqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tånys Talenter the free kick. Claes Stålberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Blomqvist in the 47th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anšlavs Karcirvis to strike the kick off in the second half. Natanael Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar-Allan Poe in the 56th minute of play. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anšlavs Karcirvis in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, John Dahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wanderson Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dênis Faria hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense got control of the ball when Mai Wen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Christian Moseng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tånys Talenter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. After 94 played minutes Tånys Talenter got a freekick which was hit by Mai Wen. Tånys Talenter's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
