In the 2nd minute, Abel Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Otsoa Alberca kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Wilfredo Heli came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Spams's Ernesto Chinto. But to his dismay, Ernesto Chinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Sven Zollinger threw the ball into play from the sideline. Spams's Tiago Gabriel Hajs quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aquiles Amurrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Zubizarreta having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Ernesto Chinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfredo Heli. Real Unión CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Chinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Spams's Tiago Gabriel Hajs managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sven Zollinger in the 20 minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Sven Zollinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Valdueza's late challenge caught a Spams's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Valdueza helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Unión CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute, Maximiliano Peru made a precise shot to the right of Wilfredo Heli. Real Unión CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ernesto Chinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Heli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Chinto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Chinto in the 25th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Wilfredo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aquiles Amurrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Real Unión CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Zollinger to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Unión CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximiliano Peru was slow to take the kick. During this time Spams's players had a chance to rest. Wilfredo Heli was a little too slow when Abel Mazza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. If Ernesto Chinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Wilfredo Heli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Chinto. 42 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Chinto came free, but Wilfredo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Chinto in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Heli saved Real Unión CF from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Spams made a substitution. Gaston Caetano replaced Maximiliano Peru. Spams's Jiang Li Kang was substituted for Ernesto Chinto. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrés Vombergar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 minutes of play, Spams's Andrés Vombergar made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfredo Heli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Amurrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Aquiles Amurrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jiang Li Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Real Unión CF's Wilfredo Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Li Kang in the 68th minute of play. Real Unión CF made a substitution. Odilon Rozano replaced Aquiles Amurrio. Sven Zollinger got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jenaro Igarza. 77 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Odilon Rozano came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Ostots Pita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Unión CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. Wilfredo Heli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jiang Li Kang went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute Odilon Rozano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Spams had won after a very even match.
