When Sledgehammer KO's Marcus Allbäck, in the 22nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sledgehammer KO. In the 24th minute, Leonard Åhman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sledgehammer KO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 27 minutes, Leonard Åhman made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. 苍穹拓荒者队's 毛迅明 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sledgehammer KO's Fredrik Moberg got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Doctor Sócrates managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sledgehammer KO's supporters rose to their feet, but Doctor Sócrates was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 毛迅明 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Askanios Kefalas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Sledgehammer KO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 苍穹拓荒者队 throughout the match.
